About

Martina Pilloni is a photographer based in Sardinia, Italy.

They developed a passion for photography and art during middle school, and started taking photographs with their first camera in 2009. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Linguistic Mediation, they began their career as a freelance graphic designer and photographer, working on their first fashion and portrait photoshoots.

What sets Martina Pilloni apart from many other photographers is their experience on both sides of the camera. Having worked since 2019 as a model for many photographers and even during Fashion Week, they understand first-hand what it means to be in front of the lens. This perspective allows them to guide their subjects with greater sensitivity, helping them feel comfortable, find their natural poses, and express themselves authentically in front of the camera.

They specialized in the music field in 2019, getting the chance to photograph Italian and international artists across Italy. In 2024, they won a contest for emerging music photographers by Italian magazine Outpump.
On June 5, 2026, they photographed American artist Hayley Williams in Milan.

For three consecutive years, they worked as a backstage photographer at Antonio Marras shows during Milan Fashion Week, gradually expanding their focus on the fashion industry alongside their work in the music industry.

More recently, they worked on several fashion editorials published on magazines such as PAP Magazine, Vanguard Magazine and The Vanilla Issue.
